An employee in this class is responsible for maintaining security at NERCC. Duties include recording and reporting inmate movements, activities and problems; coordinating activities with other staff; counseling inmates on behavioral issues; and providing transportation. The work is performed under the direction of assigned supervisory staff.

The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2023. Routine correctional work supervising inmates incarcerated at the Northeastern Regional Corrections Center (NERCC).

Department: Arrowhead Juvenile Center

An employee in this class provides counseling and correctional services for minors detained at AJC. Duties include providing direct care and supervising residents; assisting residents achieve goals, housekeeping and supervising meals; performing security checks; providing transportation. The work is performed under the direction of assigned supervisory staff.

The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2023. Routine correctional work supervising residents detained at the Arrowhead Juvenile Center (AJC). There are currently two vacancies one is a part-time (.75 FTE) and the other is a full-time (1.0 FTE).
